4. Data Protection
Insofar as there is the possibility to enter personal or business data (e-mail addresses, names, addresses) within the Internet offer then these data are expressly disclosed voluntarily by the user. CID is aware that a particularly sensitive handling of all personal data, which the users transmit to CID, is extremely important for the users. Therefore, CID shall comply with all relevant statutory data protection stipulations. CID shall not forward the personal and business data of the users to third parties without authorization or allow third parties to gain knowledge thereof in any other manner. The use of the contact data, which are published within the framework of the masthead or comparable details, such as e.g. postal addresses, telephone and fax numbers as well as e-mail addresses by third parties for sending information, which was not expressly requested, is not permitted. The right is expressly reserved to take legal steps against the sender of so-called Spam mails in case of breaches of this ban. Details concerning the processing of the personal data of the users by CID are regulated in the additionally applicable data protection declaration of CID.

5. Security Instructions
The use of the Internet and these websites inevitably involve security risks. Despite the use of state-of-the-art technology and encoding processes CID cannot guarantee that confidential data of the user cannot be viewed without authorization during the transmission via the Internet and cannot be changed without authorization.Typical dangers in the Internet are currently:

Viruses and worms: Programs which distribute themselves independently or are sent via e-mails in the Internet and can cause damages to the PCs of the users.
Trojan horses: Programs which, unnoticed by the user, carry out functions which are critical for the security, such as e.g. the intercepting of passwords.
"Phishing" attacks: Pretending the serious origin of e-mails or Internet addresses in order to obtain personal data of the user.
Hacker invasions: Unauthorized persons invade the PC of the users via the Internet.
Man-in-the-middle-attack: Co-reading, changing and deleting of data during the transmission.

A host of security measures were already taken on the part of CID for these websites. In order for these precautionary measures to be able to be effective users must also contribute to ensuring that the systems used by the users are sufficiently protected, the data are transmitted safely and abuse is therefore prevented.

6. Choice of Law and Place of Jurisdiction
The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply. The application of the UN Convention on the International Sales of Goods is excluded. Place of performance and place of jurisdiction is – insofar as permitted by law – the registered seat of CID.
